The next task to be done was to strip everything off back down to the chassis.
The plan was to start at the top and work downwards – it works better that way.
Note the pumpkin lights are still up from Halloween the night before.

Up to this point, the removal of panels had been tedious but straightforward. All I had to do was remove huge quantities of ¼” UNF nuts.
As I got further down the body, the rust came up to meet me.
This was the day I went to the local hardware and bought another 7/16 socket and a packet of cutting discs for the angle grinder.

If you look closely, you can see what little remains of the outrigger and firewall on the driver’s side.
